We hope you can join us for our next Antaeus Book Club Meeting on Sunday, December 13th, at 6:30pm. We look forward to discussing Alice Childress’s Wedding Band: A Love/Hate Story in Black & White, which Antaeus produced to great acclaim in 2014 (more about that production here). We’ll be joined by Company members Veralyn Jones and Gregg T. Daniel. Veralyn initiated the project at Antaeus and played the leading role of Julia Augustine, and Gregg directed the production. Together we’ll discuss this 20th century hidden gem, exploring the relevance it still holds today.
